Come to a consultation meeting with your Assembly Member Neil McEvoy.
We can all see the destruction of the green fields around Cardiff through the Local Development Plan (LDP), particularly in the west of the city. It’s already leading to traffic chaos and the effect on local amenities, like doctor surgeries, is going to be huge.
This is all because Cardiff Council is building thousands of expensive houses that local people can’t afford. And they’re building them on the green fields they were meant to be protecting.
We can’t stop the first 2 phases of the building now. But we can stop phases 3 onwards because they will be built after the next council elections. That means we can revoke and reform the Local Development Plan to save the green fields that haven’t been built on.
If you want to protect our way of life, save our green fields and fight to keep 10,000 extra cars off our roads then come to this consultation meeting.
